Spiritual conspiracy…

Received this today in an email and wanted to share it…

SPIRITUAL CONSPIRACY

On the surface of the world right now there is war and violence and things seem dark.
But calmly and quietly, at the same time, something else is happening underground

An inner revolution is taking place and certain individuals are being called to a higher light.

It is a silent movement.

From the inside out. From the ground up. This is a Global operation. A Spiritual Journey.

There are quiet groups in every nation on the planet. You won’t see us on the T.V. You won’t read about us in the newspaper.

You won’t hear about us on the radio. We don’t seek any glory. We don’t wear any uniform. We come in all shapes and sizes, colors and styles. Most of us work anonymously. We are quietly working behind the scenes in every country and culture of the world.

Cities big and small, mountains and valleys, in farms and villages, tribes and remote islands. You could pass by one of us on the street and not even notice.

We go undercover.

We remain behind the scenes. It is of no concern to us who takes the credit. But simply that the work gets done. Occasionally we spot each other in the street.

We give a quiet nod and continue on our way. During the day many of us pretend we have normal jobs.
But behind the false storefront at night is where the real work takes a place. Some call this Conscious Awakenings
We are slowly creating a new world with the power of our minds and hearts.

We follow, with passion and joy. Our orders come from from the Central Spiritual Intelligence
We are dropping soft, secret love messages when no one is looking. Poems ~ Hugs ~ Music ~ Photography ~ Movies ~ Kind words ~ Smiles ~ Meditation and prayer ~ Dance ~ Social activism ~ Websites ~ Blogs ~ Random acts of kindness…

We each express ourselves in our own unique ways with our own unique gifts and talents
Be the change you want to see in the world….. that is the motto that fills our hearts
We know it is the only way real transformation takes place
We know that quietly and humbly we have the power of all the oceans combined
Our work is slow and meticulous…..like the formation of mountains
It is not even visible at first glance, and yet with it entire tectonic plates shall be moved in the centuries to come
Love is the new religion of the 21st century.
You don’t have to be a highly educated person
Or have any exceptional knowledge to understand it. It comes from the intelligence of the heart
Embedded in the timeless evolutionary pulse of all human beings
Be the change you want to see in the world….
Nobody else can do it for you…..
We are now growing…. Perhaps you will join us…Or already have.
All are welcome…The door is open

Why is Change so difficult?

“Why is change so difficult?”  When I ask this question, amongst my peers (who are mostly Yogis) I get a flummox of answers, telling me that it’s actually easy to change, and that change is the only thing that’s constant, and a long raft of other quotes from other worldly wise Masters who we resonate with, and we walk away with some nice quotes and phrases, that we then pipe out to others when we see them on the verge of accepting transition.  Then the urge is to tell a personal story of how I have changed, and am I not a brave warrior for being able to do so, and look at all the riches that have come into my life, because of the changes I have undergone.

Just because we understand what change is; just because we can appreciate change; just because we have had an experience of change, it does not mean we are ready for it right now, or that we even know how to go about it in the right way.  There are two ways we can change and both involve the Archetype of the Creator and the Destroyer from Carl Jung. It goes a little bit like this:

The first situation that pushes us to change is that things are untenable. We just can’t go on. It’s unacceptable. I’m hurt, I have been walked on, my boundaries have been crossed. I am angry, or frustrated, or feel like I am trapped in a web. I might even have a sense of hopelessness. and I need to walk away, to start again. And this works… for a while.

The second situation is to look for the patterns within yourself, and change this instead. Remember it’s easier to change what’s inside than what’s outside.

The problem that arises with change is the cause and effect of the creator/destroyer archetype.   When we change, the Creator Archetype flows in abundance through our psyche, because it is a universal energetic force that we desperately need to survive the change. It can be very expressive, and powerful, and allow  us to surf the plain of existence and create a new world, a better world. There is a great line from the film Bladerunner I often hear:   “..a new life awaits you in the off-World colonies. The chance to begin again in a golden land of opportunity and adventure”. To be honest, this was my mantra as I see off for London over 2 years ago. And it’s great!

But the Creator Archetype works hand in hand with the Destroyer Archetype. In order to create new from old,  then old patterns need to be let go of first. There needs to be an opportunity to create some energetic space to let the old energies and patterns to dissipate, in order to allow the new energies to flow freely.  I remember as a kid that my mom would sweep the old year out the back door, and welcome in the new year through the front door on the transition to a new year. An interesting Universal Law of the conservation of energy arises. If you don’t personally take the decision to let go, then the Universe will do it to you. It will visit you with destruction and decimation. There will be much more suffering and pain.To the degree that you ignore those Karmic stuff that you need to clear, you will end up reacting to situations, rather than responding to situations. This is what we call Chaos.

In my case, I had left a lot of unfinished business behind. But it came back to me, almost like going on a holiday, and when you get back to work, everything you left behind is just sitting there, waiting for you, smiling at you. I had to face it, and I still do every day. It’s a constant process of creating and letting go.

There are only so many times you can shut people out of your life, pull down the shutters, and start again, before eventually the Universe catches up with you. Remember the Universe is very very patient. It has waited millions, if not billions of years for this day, and it’s in no hurry…

I Wanted To Change The World By Unknown Monk, 1100 A.D.

When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world.

I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation.

When I found I couldn’t change the nation, I began to focus on my town.

I couldn’t change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family.

Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family.

My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world.

The effect of words….

Today,  a close friend of mine posted the following on their facebook page, and before I read the title, I read the text. Every time I read it, I get shivers all over…. I’m not going to post the title (yet) because the words have a much deeper effect than the title. let me know what you experience….

O Breathing Life, your Name shines everywhere!
Release a space to plant your Presence here.
Envision your “I can” now.
Embody your desire in every light and form.
Grow through us this moment’s bread and wisdom.
Untie the knots of failure binding us,
as we release the strands we hold of others’ faults.
Help us not forget our Source,
yet free us from not being in the Present.
From you arises every Vision, Power, and Song
from gathering to gathering.
